Key Account

What is a Key Account?

A key account is one of a company's most important and valuable customers. These are typically large, strategic customers who generate a significant amount of revenue or have a major influence in their industry. Companies often have a dedicated "key account manager" whose job is to nurture the relationship with these top customers and ensure their long-term satisfaction and loyalty. In a partner program, a vendor might work closely with a partner to co-manage a key account, combining the partner's local relationship with the vendor's deep product knowledge.
