Application Programming Interface (API)

What is an Application Programming Interface (API)?

An API is like a translator that allows different software programs to talk to each other. Instead of having to build a connection from scratch, developers can use an API to easily integrate two systems. For example, an API can connect your PRM system to your CRM, so that lead and customer data flows seamlessly between them. This saves a ton of time, reduces manual errors, and ensures everyone is working with the most up-to-date information. In a partner ecosystem, APIs are the glue that connects different technologies, creating a smooth and integrated experience for both the company and its partners.
